Full Time Facilities Coordinator

Full-Time position (40 hr/w)

11 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

12 p.m. – 8 p.m. | Tuesdays & Thursdays

Major Responsibilities

– Maintain the building’s appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness daily, weekly, and monthly.
– Manage trash removal and recycling; set out bins weekly.
– Set up classrooms and event spaces as directed by Program Coordinators.
– Inventory and reorder cleaning supplies through the Administrative Assistant.
– Organize and maintain storage areas.
– Schedule preventive maintenance in coordination with the Administrative Assistant.
– Perform minor repairs and maintenance; coordinate major repairs with vendors through the Executive Director and/or Administrative Assistant.
– Ensure building upkeep Monday-Friday.
– Seasonally patrol outdoor areas for trash; shovel and salt walkways in winter.

Knowledge and Skills

– General facility maintenance knowledge, including mechanical equipment like furnaces and water heaters.
– Understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
– Proficiency with hand tools and cleaning equipment.
– Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
– Reliability.

Minimum Qualifications

– High School Diploma
