What a senior services millage will do

The five Grosse Pointe cities and the city of Harper Woods have approved a ballot proposal for the November 2024 election that, if approved by voters, will provide necessary resources and support to promote and protect the health and well-being of senior residents in the community.

Specifically, residents of the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods will consider a 6-year 0.35 millage proposal to fund essential senior services and establish a new and much-needed adult day program in the community. The Helm, as the comprehensive and primary provider of senior services in the community, will provide the services funded by the millage. The Helm will also continue its 45-year tradition of fundraising to maintain current services.

Information about the Senior Services Millage will be updated regularly.
