The 2024 March for Meals for Meals on Wheels is happening now!
The 6th Annual March for Meals benefiting The Helm Meals on Wheels program is a virtual walk. You can march, walk, run, bike, skip, jump, or hop on the sidewalk, a treadmill, or in your backyard. Or you don’t have to walk at all. However you choose to support us is your secret!
All walk proceeds benefit the Meals on Wheels program at The Helm. In 2023, we served nearly 26,000 meals to homebound Harper Woods and Grosse Pointe residents unable to safely prepare meals for themselves. That was an increase of 26% from 2022. As our population continues to age, the need for Meals on Wheels continues to grow.
Every $5 donation provides one meal.
$1,000 provides 200 meals.
$500 provides 100 meals.
$250 provides 50 meals.
